Design aims at identification of structurally sound abandoned space and redesigning it to respond to site and the community. The proposal is to redevelop a closed mall into mixed-use building, primarily focusing on housing the needy and creating community space.

The proposal focuses on providing a mixed income housing promoting social integration in a natural living condition using the the idea of STREET at a vertical level. This is done with climatology, linearity of site and economic conditions and environmental impact in mind.

Creating a connection between two major historic windows while also focusing on the local user. Redeveloping the center as a zonal destination with provision of entertainment, knowledge and open-green recreational spaces.

Documentation of vernacular earthquake resistant architecture in a village in Uttarakhand. Focusing on the construction techniques and materials and usage of the built according to climatic conditions of the region.
